Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience working alongside product ownership and software engineers to build, test, and automate testing of large-scale applications in hosted production environments
- Demonstrated experience in the following:
- Strong coding skills and concepts in Java, JavaScript, Gherkin, Groovy, shell scripts
- Technical testing tools including Ready API, Cypress IO, Postman, GIT, Selenium, JMeter, Performance Center, Sabre, Azure DevOps
- Testing Angular based web apps (Cypress IO, Selenium, Protractor)
- Creating test automation framework from scratch
- BDD using Gherkin and Cucumber
- Experience in automated test case suite maintenance, including creation of new tests, automated test scheduling, execution, and test log analysis
- Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of Quality Management, including testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurements
- Proficiency in eliciting and documenting requirements and performing quality assurance using SDLC best practices/standards
- Understanding of cloud-native development, deployment, and orchestration: containers, Azure cloud
- Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Solid judgement and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong follow-through, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively manage change and customer expectations
- Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging by audience, including non-technical groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Airline Industry experience, including business systems and technology
- Crew application support experience
Top 3 to 5 skillsets / yrs. of experience:
