Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the sector Agile Coach and closely with sector leadership to collaborate on and execute the Agile and DevSecOps transformation vision, roadmap, and measurements
  • Lead a SAFe Lean-agile transformation, fit for purpose, by leveraging the best practices and principles of the Scaled Agile Framework and the 7 core competencies of the Lean Enterprise
  • Identify Value Streams and the Agile Release Train and helps teams organize to optimize value delivery
  • Create and execute the ART Implementation Plan for ARTs and Solution Trains, including helping to prepare for and lead PI Planning with program and team
  • Organize and launch kanban and scrum teams and apply SAFe, fit for purpose to serve the greater organization needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor and guide program leadership team (business and IT) to share and implement best practices, values, and ways of working
  • Provide coaching and training to the program leadership teams, product managers/owners and scrum masters on the Portfolio, Program, and Team Level
  • Teach SAFe classes, provide ad hoc training, and facilitate workshops
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement for the program and teams and help develop continuous improvement plans with other Agile coaches, Solution Train Engineers, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and agile teams
  • Ensure successful adoption of Scaled Agile for Enterprise (SAFe®) within teams without risking the project delivery
  • Collaborate with teams to set clear outcomes and ways to get there with the best of agile practices
  • Empower Scrum Masters and Product Owners to enable flow of information, especially for high priority items, with team members & stakeholders
  • Provide relevant modeling and examples for people to emulate
  • Develop program/team level dashboards for the program with the STE, RTE and Scrum Masters
  • Build a Continuous Delivery Pipeline leveraging appropriate processes and tools needed
  • Engage with other Agile coaches and Agile and DevSecOps COE for continuous improvement and ongoing learning, to identify broader organizational needs, ensure consistent agile coaching, and improve processes

Required Skills (and years of experience):

  • SAFe SPC Certification and experience teaching SAFe® classes
  • Experience leading agile transformations for infrastructure, security, and data organizations
  • Highly collaborative and active listener who embraces different opinions and thought diversity
  • Ability to take direction, take initiative, motivate others
  • Agile tool expertise in Azure DevOps including team and program level dashboard/reporting
  • Digital collaboration tool experience in tools like Miro or Mural

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • 5+ years working in an Agile environment and experience with multiple Agile frameworks (i.e. Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in SAFe®
  • Experience teaching SAFe® classes
  • 4+ years in delivering Agile training and coaching in a transforming organization
  • Experience of working in leadership capacity on a large transformation program
  • Experience leading agile transformations for infrastructure, security, and data organizations
  • Agile tool expertise in Azure DevOps including team and program level dashboard/reporting
  • 5+ years agile team and program level dashboard/reporting (Azure DevOps)
  • Digital collaboration tool experience in tools like Miro or Mural
  • 8+ years of related IT experience in technology/software organizations

Preferred Skills: (NICE TO HAVES)

  • Cloud transformation experience
  • Experience with PowerBI and Tableau for reporting and dashboards with Azure DevOps
  • Standard suite of Office products
