Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Cloud operations team lead, providing support for AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure implementation activities.
  • Provide senior-level Cloud consultation and implementation guidance that meets requirements to include server provisioning, storage, network, and security. Direct the creation andor validation of Cloud application infrastructure documentation, (e.g., Target State Diagrams (TSDs)) and Firewall rules.
  • Lead and direct technical reviews for infrastructure deployments in the AWS and Azure Cloud environments, as well as troubleshooting of Cloud application infrastructure issues.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison in providing product/services information and in resolving issues regarding AWS and Azure Cloud products and services that include server provisioning, storage, network, and security infrastructure deployment.

Experience

  • Requires 8 to 10 years of experience with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years of experience with MS/MA/MBA or 12+ years of experience with no degree, 5+ years of experience in a Team Leadership role (please detail this experience)
  • Ability to effectively lead a multi-disciplinary AWS and Azure Cloud operations support team in a dynamic and high-profile customer-facing environment, planning and assigning support tasks.
  • Able to lead, direct and coordinate with multiple data center and cloud operations teams to support customer resource provisioning and application deployments.
  • Ability to provide leadership, input, and guidance during the development of AWS and Azure Cloud application deployments and operational plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Able to manage and assign resources to support AWS and Azure Cloud infrastructure and operational enhancements and resolve customer and application team issues.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, applied in a customer-facing environment.
  • Must be US Citizen

Desired

  • Able to provide technical customer facing interaction, problem resolution, troubleshooting, incident escalation and set direction for resolution of critical path incidents or problems for the AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
  • Able to work effectively in a complex and dynamic environment with multiple customers and team members, and application development teams.
  • Exhibit knowledge of (and experience with) UNIX (Solaris), Linux and Windows system infrastructure architectures (including network, firewall, and authentication topologies), with skills applied in supporting the documentation, implementation and deployment of systems and applications.
  • Exhibit knowledge of (and experience with) ITIL foundations best practice and processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Services Management tools
